It really is a pretty piece. The only thing I'd say 'sucks' about it is that there isn't enough darkness and it feels a little washed out and two dimensional but it's lovely. Both characters are engaging, the composition is nice, the detail work is very pretty and the differences in texture are obvious.
I never question how an artist feels about their own work, but this is the only time I will make an exception. I see what you dislike about the picture. I would like to point out though that the flaw...which I think is the fuzzy appearance...actually give the picture a better affect. It makes the entire image seem as hairy and enticing as its occupants. Then again this is just my thoughts.
as much as you say you hate this and that it sucks, if i could draw the things i see in my head half this good, i'd be happy. its good to know that you can do better, but you shouldn't put down decent art. at least yer not DOOMED to draw stick figures. K
Wow, personally I really like it, though i not what you mean when you say your not happy with a piece! The shading on the hair is really effective and it seems that no matter how much I practice I can't shade like that, do you mainly use photoshop on your pieces?
Oh Gods, the wolf looks like the exact same replica of the wolf that appeared to me one night. -_- Though most wolf's almost look the same.
But, tell me...other than you hating it, what does it mean? Is there a story behind it? A meaning? I would love to find out! Such mystery in both their eyes is quite agitating. lmao
